Basic Cat Lady

Thank you for being a cat-stomer! I started Fox & Feline in 2015 as a blog after working many years in the pet industry and fostering animals. It quickly evolved into designing my own organic cat toys. I had never used a sewing machine before, but I was tired of sitting at a computer! Making something tangible with high quality materials just felt “right”. Additionally, the cat consumer market is very limited compared to their canine counterpart. Helping cats and their owners feel catered to in ways big chain stores fall short has been my honor.

During COVID I closed shop for office renovations to expand our items, which was delayed by an unexpected health issue that preventing me from using a sewing machine. After surgery, the product shop reopened in late 2024!

I cannot express enough gratitude for the love our loyal kitty clients have given to our small shop over the years. We will be keeping our social media updated with any inventory changes, limited release pattern releases, and discounted catnip gift set drops. Be sure to follow!

What to tell your cat when they ask...

Items are "stuffed" to order for freshness unless noted as ready to ship or limited edition with a pre-order date. Please allow 5-7 business days for your fresh order.
All cat toys are handmade with care in NJ. Created with care and made with ethical materials.
We understand cats can be fickle! But all items are non-refundable for safety reasons with exposure to unknown cat-stomers. If you are unhappy with your order due to a quality issue, please email us at foxandfeline@yahoo.com for individual review of being sent a new items.
We offer items for animal related non-profts for raffle. Please reach out to foxandfeline@yahoo.com. For influencers, we are able to offer ready to ship expo stock for free on a case by case basis / availability. We also offer sending care packages to cats in foster homes and shelters who are having difficulty being adopted.
Tipping is never required for your order! This option is available for check off if anyone would like to contribute to our feral colony feeding, fosters or volunteer TNR costs. Tips go to tipped ears!
There are three herbs that give cats a dopamine boost and feeling of euphoria. This includes Catnip, Valerian, and Silvervine. Each one taste, smells and gives a different "buzz". Some cats who do not respond to catnip may still be able to experience the euphoria effect from other herbs. Valerian is considering a more relaxing sensation, while silvervine is considered most potent. Additionally there are other cat friendly herbs that cats enjoy the taste of.
Yes we do. This includes custom sizes or different herbs in our toys. Are catnip toys are available with valerian or silvervine exclusively for an increase fee due to the cost of these herbs. You can email us with your order number to foxandfeline@yahoo.com if you would like modifications to fabric toys in your order.
GOTS stands for the Global Organic Textile Standards. It is a rigid certification that examines all part of a company's supply chain for a textile from pesticides and farming practices to fair trade wages. This certification ensures the entire final textile fabric meets safety and environmental standards beyond the organic raw fibers.
